Paper Pinwheels

With July 4th coming next week, I’m thinking about possible cards I can make for our nation’s celebration, and I think pinwheels are a great addition to this card!  it doesn’t require you to have a specialized stamp set, which definitely is nice.  I did add the word ‘sparkle’ but you could easily leave that off.

I used a 3/4″ tag punch to make the ends of the pinwheel, and a 1 inch circle punch and 3/4 inch circle punch for the inside of the pinwheel.  I just taped them on, one at a time, and made sure there was a gap between each tag (there was a total of 8 tags per pinwheel).  The circle pieces went on last.  The list of materials is below if you’d like to try to make this!

1″ and 3/4″ circle punch

3/4″ tag punch (retired) I suggest this similar punch: Banners Pick a Punch
