Same Color Stamping Technique

Hello friends!

If you’re searching for a decorative paper or DSP in a certain theme, but don’t have anything that fits, try this technique instead. You don’t need any special supplies with it!

Use a stamp that you feel can be used with your theme. For example, for the card below I used a small star stamp to make a Fourth of July card. Use the same color ink as your cardstock to stamp on the card. I used blueberry bushel:

This is a fairly quick process, and a subtle way to add character to your card without detracting the eye from your sentiment. If you’re looking for a variation you could try stamping the stars with a lighter colored blue ink for a softer effect.

You can then go ahead and make your card as normal.

I hope this inspires you to try this technique!~ Let me know if you do; I’d love to see your designs!

Stay stamping,

Jen
