Happy Wednesday! Last night on Instagram I shared this card I had made, and wanted to show the details in case you’d like to make it too! Fun fold cards add that extra pop and uniqueness to your cards and can be used for any occasion.
For this card, you’ll want to choose decorative paper that measures approximately 4″ x 6″, and cardstock in a matching color. I used a sheet of paper from the Abstract Beauty collection (retired) and Flirty Flamingo cardstock.
Trim your cardstock so that it measures 8″ the long way and 5.75″ the short way.
Score your cardstock on the long side at 2″ and 4″. The 2″ fold should be folded so that it resembles a “mountain”, and the 4″ fold will resemble a “valley”. See illustration below:
Flamingo paper, and a 2 3/8” scallop punch to
punch out a circle from Basic White cardstock. Feel free to use whatever punches or tools you have available to you. The saying I stamped onto the white piece is from Happy Hedgehogs, and I used Basic Grey ink.
Tape or glue the white circle to pink circle, and attach
to the first fold of the card.
Birthday stamp and stamp it on the paper towards the upper third of the white space. Do not center. I used Expressions of
Friendship (retired) stamp set.
Pick a stamp that matches your designer series paper, then stamp it down the right in a
coordinating color. I used a Paper
Pumpkin stamp from June 2022 in tuxedo black ink.
Attach to the inside of your
card.
