Paper Pumpkin: Three Reasons why You Need to Subscribe

If you’ve been looking around my website, you may have noticed the words ‘Paper Pumpkin’ and wondered what it means.

Simply, it’s Stampin’ Up’s monthly subscription box.  I know you’re probably thinking the last thing you need is another monthly subscription to keep track of, but this one is definitely worth a look.  I’ll give you three reasons why you should give it a go.

1.  Everything is provided for you

I’ve mentioned before how kits are a great way to immerse yourself in stamping, because all materials are supplied for you.  The same is true with Paper Pumpkin!  Each month that you subscribe, you will receive a kit that contains stamps, ink, cards, adhesive, embellishments, envelopes, everything that you need to make the project!  The stamps are exclusive stamps, not sold anywhere else.

2.  It gives you an opportunity for self care each month, at a time and place that is convenient for you.

We all need time to relax and recharge.  In-person workshops and classes provide a great social outlet if you have those opportunities available to you.  Some people benefit from this type of interaction. Sometimes, however, you may be tired and just want to chill at home, listening to your favorite music.   This is when you can grab your Paper Pumpkin kit, and use it when it works for you.

3.  Paper Pumpkin encourages creativity.

Suggested ideas of how the project should turn out are provided, but you are free to be creative and make the projects your own.  Don’t like embellishments?  Leave them off.   Want to use a different stamp or color combination?  The choice is yours.

A bonus perk is that It’s a great way to experiment with different ink colors and techniques that you may not have tried on your own.  For example, the Basic Grey inkpad was included in the June 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit, and it’s not a color I would have considered using before.  But, It works really well on my cards and I’m starting to love the color!
