Happy 1st day of Fall!

I hope you are enjoying the start to Autumn!  I love this season, with the cooler temperatures, falling leaves of yellow and orange, and the many smells that are unique to this time of year. 🍂🍂🍂🍂    However, living in Florida, it’s just not happening here.  But that’s ok!  I lived in Wisconsin for several years, so I don’t feel like I’m missing out too much!

If you’d like to send out a fall-themed card but don’t know where to start, I’d love to help you with that!  There are several stamp sets in the annual catalog as well as the July – December mini catalog that have Fall-ish themes and would be perfect for making cards to send out to friends and family.

My first list is from the newest catalog, the July – December 2022 Mini Catalog.  This is personally my favorite catalog of the year!  It offers a range of Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas stamps as well as great ideas on how to use them.  My favorites are the Christmas stamps, but that post is for later.   😉

Perched in a Tree (p 46) or online  This stamp set is adaptable as you can create either an autumnal card or a holiday card.  What makes this set amazing though are the dies that coordinate with it.  The Aspen Tree Dies provides a beautiful birch tree backdrop to your cards. Hello Harvest (p 50) or online Pumpkins, and flowers, and leaves…oh my!  This set offers a nice Fall theme of pumpkins, flowers, and leaves, and could also be used for a Thanksgiving card or invitation as well.

Gathered Wheat (p 51) or online  Featuring a wheat bundle and thankful sayings, this collection can also be used for Fall or Thanksgiving.

Fond of Autumn (p 52) or online  Just as the name suggests, this is a set of 11 photopolymer stamps perfect for making card this season.

Soft Seedlings (p 53) or online  If you’re looking for a stamp of a perfect fall leaf and helicopter seeds, this is the stamp set for you.  There are four different sayings included, and I love the font they used!

Painted Pheasant (p 53) or online  This is a Thanksgiving stamp set, but definitely could work for Fall themes as well.

Apple Harvest (p 54) or online  Apples definitely remind me of Fall, but definitely not limited to this season.  This stamp set could be used in many different ways, throughout the year. Ringed with Nature (p 62) or online  I absolutely love the versatility of this stamp set!  Need a Fall card?  🗹  Anniversary card?  🗹  New home?  🗹  Get well soon?  🗹  Thinking of you?  🗹  Merry Christmas?  🗹   This stamp set can do it all. I recommend investing in the embossing folder that coordinates with this.  It really adds dimension to the tree rings, and you can cut out and use the tree rings as a focal point on any card you’d like to make.  Here’s an example:

Now let’s take a look at the annual catalog.    I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the floral stamp sets, as many of them offer leaves, but I found six sets that jumped out at me as being a good match for Fall vibes.

Cup of Tea (p 13) or online  This stamp set, although tea based, can be used as a coffee cup, to invite a friend to morning coffee.  The leaves definitely hint at Fall.   What better way to enjoy a crisp, Fall morning, than a cup of coffee (or tea) with a friend?

Cheerful Basket (p 35) or online  The school supplies, apples, and the basket signify fall with back to school and apple picking.  I love the versatility of the basket as you could stamp anything in there from your other stamp sets.

Happier than Happy (p 47) or online   This is a whimsical set with woodland animals but the tree, mushroom and acorn stamps give me the impression of Autumn.  This stamp set would be perfect to make for a child, or let the children have fun with it themselves!

Nuts About Squirrels (p 50) or online  If you love squirrels, then this is the stamp set for you.  This is a 13 piece photopolymer stamp set that offers images of squirrels, nuts, leaves and a tree branch, plus four different sayings.  Everything about it just gives off a sense of Fall.

Happy Hedgehogs (p 60) or online  I admit this stamp set is a bit of stretch to visualize as a fall-themed stamp set.  Why does a hedgehog make me think of Fall?  I’m not sure 😉  The hedgehog definitely gives off Fall vibes with its brown coloring, and the tree can be colored to look as if it’s fall.

Beauty of Friendship (p104) or online  Featuring five different stamps  of tree branches and leaves, you can easily make a Fall scene on your cards with this set.  It is easily adaptable to other times of the year as well.
