As I’m sitting here, I realize I want to make some fall cards but I don’t necessarily have stamps that will work. Yes, I could place an order, and if that’s what you want to do, Stampin’ Up! will not disappoint. Check out this post that details all the stamps that would be perfect for making fall cards.
However, sometimes we just want to use the supplies we have on hand. So that’s what I did today, and I’d like to show two cards I came up that are fall themed.
When we think of fall, we normally think of leaves falling. I designed this card using that theme. I’ll post the product I used below for reference, but feel free to just use the supplies you have to make a variation of this card.
I made the leaf by using a stencil. If you don’t have a leaf stencil, feel free to download a template or just freehand draw a leaf. I drew the image of the leaf, and then taped decorative paper onto the leaf, and cut it out. The ribbon I bought at Walmart this past weekend which I found in their Christmas section; overall the card measures 5″ x 7″.

Are pumpkins more your thing? Do you have an oval punch or die?
Then you can make these cuties! It’s either two or three ovals positioned together. Place your first oval, position your stem, then attach the last oval(s). You can also easily turn them into jack o’ lanterns for Halloween by adding black or yellow shapes to the front.
I hope you enjoyed these cards! It was fun making them and thinking out of the box. Be sure to check back later for more fall ideas coming soon.
Stay creative,
Jen
