As we enter the season for ice cream (and if you live in the south it can be argued that ice cream season is year round!), I wanted to highlight the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch that Stampin’ Up! has on clearance.
I typically do not purchase a lot of punches, primarily because I don’t have a lot of space to store them. I have to be selective in what I choose to bring into the house. But I’ve really been having a lot of fun with this cute punch, and I wanted to share some of the cards I’ve made with it.

Use whatever cardstock/DSP papers you have available; the same applies to your stamps. I used retired DSP for the ice cream cone, but you can always draw in the crosshatch lines, or simply leave blank. Cones are typically not that dark in color, but I’m ok with that. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box when designing your cards.

Feel free to vary the colors of the ice cream scoops!

You can use ice cream cones with any color combinations; be sure to add “sprinkles” to the top to give it some depth. Embellishments tend to work better in odd numbers, so keep that in mind as you finish up your cards.

This ice cream cone pairs well with the squirrel, don’t you think? Feel free to use any animal stamp that you have; it will make the cutest birthday card ever!
Please share your ice cream creations!
Happy Stamping,
Jen
