Silhouette Technique

This is a super easy method for your cards but not one often thought of because normally the focus is on adding color to cards. It’s called the Silhouette technique, and basically all you do is stamp your image using black ink, then color it in using black. That’s it!

Depending on the size and how detailed your image is, it can be time consuming to color in the entire image, so keep that in mind when selecting a stamp to use. I think the floral stamps work well with this technique, though of course you can try other stamps as well to see if you like the effect.

Happy Stamping!
