Have you tried stamping on your DSP? Don’t be afraid to try it! It can turn your papers that you’ve stashed away in your “never to use” pile, into cards that you love the look of!
This paper is from the Rings of Nature DSP pack from a couple of years ago, and let me tell you, I thought it was ugly. 😊 However, I’ve recently been working on trying to use up my retired papers, and I wondered how it would look with the image stamped right onto it.
I used Crushed Curry as my ink, with a past Paper Pumpkin stamp, and I really liked how it turned out. The leaves in the DSP coordinate well with the stamped image. I used Lemon Lime Twist cardstock for the base, and the happy birthday stamp from the Sweetly Scripted set available as an Online Exclusive.
If you’re looking to do this as well, I’d recommend using DSP that is not a bold print, and experiment with different color combinations.
If you try it, I’d love to see what you come up with!
Happy Stamping,
Jen
