The Inky Flamingo | Stamp with Jen Vitek

Hi friends! Today’s card has a horizontal layout, and uses both sides of the DSP. If your decorative paper isn’t two-sided, it’s fine! Find a matching paper (or scraps) and use that instead.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

• A2 Card base that measures 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2*
• white cardstock that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″ for front of card
• white cardstock for your greeting
• white cardstock that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″ for inside of card
• 3″ x 4″  DSP for front of card
• 2 – 1″ x 4″ pieces of DSP for front of card
• 2 – 3/4″ x 4″ pieces of DSP for inside of card

*for card base:  cut your cardstock 8.5″ x 5.5″; score at 4 1/4″

FRONT OF CARD

1. Start with your white cardstock piece that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″.  You are going to glue your DSP pieces to this. 
2. Make sure the cardstock is horizontal.  Adhere one of the 1″ x 4″ pieces to the left side of the white cardstock.  Line up the edges. 
3.  Repeat on the right side with the other piece of 1″ x 4″ DSP
4. Take your 3″ x 4″ DSP and center it in the middle of the two outer strips.  Glue down.
5. Stamp your greeting on the white cardstock shape.  Attach to the front of the card with dimensionals
6. Adhere this piece to the front of your card base.  

INSIDE OF CARD

1. Make sure your 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of cardstock is horizontal, and stamp your greeting on it.
2. Affix one strip of 3/4″ x 4″ to the left side of the white cardstock.  Repeat with the right side.
3. Attach this piece to the inside of your card base with your choice of adhesive.
