World Kindness Day

Today is World Kindness Day, which was first celebrated in 1997, and focuses on small acts of kindness you can do for others. Some examples include offering a compliment to someone, paying for someone’s coffee, donating your unwanted items to charity, or making a financial contribution to a non-profit organization if it’s within your means.

A fun way to impact others would be to hand out cards you’ve made to people you come across today. If you’re not feeling particularly crafty, no worries! Stampin’ Up! has you covered.

Thé Share a Smile Kit requires no stamping, and everything is ready for you to put together, all pieces included. It also includes a fun little box to store your cards in until you’re ready to use them!

This would also be a fun parent/child project- complete the kit together and then go out and hand out your cards! Children have a giving nature, and it would leave a lasting impression not only on them, but also on the recipients of the card. Here’s an unboxing video:

I want to help you create your own cards! I am available to teach you how to do it, either in-person or online, in a 1:1 setting or group class. The choice is yours.

I believe in spreading kindness, and what better way than to give a card to someone who needs a paper hug 😊
