If you’re looking to add a nice amount of color to your watercolor paper, today’s technique may be what you’re looking for. It’s called the Spritzing Technique, and you only need a couple of products to make it happen.

Stampin’ Spritzers work perfectly for this method, but you can grab any small sprayer bottle you have access to, and use that. Fill the Stampin’ Spritzer approximately 3/4 full with water, and add 5 drops of ink. Give it a little shake to mix, and you’re ready to spray.
I recommend using watercolor paper with this method, because I found my watercolor paper did buckle a little, but dried fine. Cardstock paper will not handle the water as effectively.
Spray directly onto your paper. Use short light sprays. If it’s not as colored as you like, you can always add more. If you see water drops on top of the paper, you can use a tissue to blot it.
Allow to completely dry, and then use as desired. I like to die cut mine right away, but you can save the paper for when you need it. Here are the pieces I got from mine:

With the large piece, I created a floral card, click here to see it!
